Sylvain Willenz's Scribble series of textiles celebrates the imperfection and charm of a hand-drawn line. Scribble takes loosely drawn patterns directly from the designer's sketchbook and transforms them into weaves. Grid features a framework of lines that are relaxed and gently undulating; geometrical rigor made pleasingly rough. The Grid rug is made from thick, hand-tufted European wool for an especially high-quality finish. Produced in India by a weaving collective to global ethical standards such as GoodWeave, SGS, and Woolmark.

A winner of multiple awards, including Belgian Designer Of The Year, Sylvain Willenz founded his eponymous design studio in 2004. Based in Brussels, the studio works on a wide range of projects, with a focus on furniture and exhibition design, as well as creative direction.
