To celebrate this year's Christmas, we asked an award-winning pastry chef Magnus Håård to prepare a gingerbread version of his favourite Hem piece. Always the perfectionist, Magnus didn't make this challenge an easy one and chose our iconic All Wood Stool - with a particularly intricate level screw. As impressive as it looks, it also tastes delicious! Magnus Håård’s Gingerbread Recipe:

140g butter
240g sugar
100ml dark syrup
100ml water 
10g Baking soda that you will dissolve in the water
2g ground ginger
5g ground clove
4g ground cinnamon
520g regular wheat flour

Mix all the ingredients together and knead into a smooth dough before leaving it to cool down in the fridge. Take it out and roll the dough to a thickness of about 2 mm. Shape at will. Put your gingerbread on a tray and bake at 190°C for 10 minutes.
