The Hem pop-up will give Londoners the opportunity to buy Hem furniture, lighting and accessories by some of today’s most forward-thinking designers, including Max Lamb, Luca Nichetto, Pauline Deltour, GamFratesi and Philippe Malouin.

Coal Drops Yard will house a mix of international and independent brands, shops, restaurants and bars in traditional Victorian architecture along the canal. The Hem pop-up’s interior will feature Hem’s furniture set inside a raw industrial space fitted with bright orange shelving and a large acoustic wall from BAUX. The eye-catching pink counter is bespoke, designed and built by London design studio Soft Baroque using a technique they developed in-house called Puffy Bricks.

Hem will host a series of talks in the pop-up with some of the designers the brand has collaborated with over the years to bring Hem’s beloved objects to life. The space will also be home to weekly workshops for the general public, including photography, embroidery and interior styling. Follow the official Facebook event for the latest updates:
